Happy Birthday, Mike -

I hope that things are going well for you and your family in Utah. I miss getting together with you and talking about writing, or horses, or skiing, or whatever. Do you still spend any time on your fiction writing? I have taken a break from writing and have concentrated on courses in Kung-Fu (4 years) and guitar (3 years). I'm still not too good at either, but I have fun trying.

My children are 15, 12, and 9 now. When you start teaching one of your kids to drive, you really know you're getting old! Things are going okay for us - Jean has gone back to work at ADP as a tech writer, and I'm still at Mentor Graphics, now in the QA group on an IC Verification tool. I still like working with computers and appreciate the challenge of trying to fix something that's not working quite like it should.

Drop me a line sometime and let me know how things are going. I'll be 50 myself before long, so we should have plenty of wisdom to share with each other ;-)
